Fan outdoors to inc potency

Hi, I was reading here that dry leaves will makes the plants produce more thc, and that indoors fans are used to dry the plants and inc potency, is this true? I have a secure, remote outdoor location, there are $20 battery operated fans that would probably blow for 12 hours on my little patch. does this sound like it would help?

also, just another dumb question. right now female plants have tons of pistils or hairs and then the leaves surrounding them, so when i smoke weed, I am smoking pistils but I can't see them, right? they just shrivel up against the leaf, and the leaves are potent close to the pistils because they have some crystals, but further out they are less potent with less trichomes, so they are cut off during trimming.

another question, maybe someone can answer this without new thread. so for commercial grows in mexico, usually sativa is used, and that often, in the mid-atlantic is our seedy shwag, then the mids with just a few seeds in them are probably commerical us or maybe even canadian grows. like these 1,000 plant grows that are being busted all over the west, i assume there are many more that are harvested to supply the black market of the u.s. So if someone is doing a 1,000 plant cali or oregon grow, they probably are using a commerical indica seed, right? is their such a thing? why would someone in oregon plant a mexican shwag seed?

anyway, i wonder, becasue in the past, the grows seemed to mature late with little yield for the effort, but now i see big fat leaves, buds that will be mature in a month or so, and i guess it is indica commerical bagseed that is working right now. i've been at this habit, on and off for 30 yrs and it looks very likely i will be finally hitting pot head nirvana, maybe even some bubble bags are in the works, all for ME! this country boy is going to have some fun wondering these green hills.

if you just smoke the laefs with the trichomes on them they get you high but make you sleepy compard to the bud. I would make oil or bubble hash out of the trimmings.

got any pictures??

To answer your first question, no that sounds like a waste of time (wind is slightly more powerful than a battery powered fan). Andrew answered your second question. Your last question however requires a more complicated answer. For the most part, it isnt the weed that they grow in Mexico that is schwag, it is how they package it and transport it that turns it into schwag. Bricking up weed while it is still wet causes mold to grow and ammonia to build up inside the brick which eats away at the THC and plant matter, degrading the quality of weed, and eventually turning it into schwag. If you take a schwag seed, and grow it out as sensimilla, it will be some pretty good weed, probably wont be heady by any means, but it will deffinately be some decent $50 an 1/8 nugget. Alot of people call decent schwag that gets you high mids, but to me, if its been bricked up, its schwag. Mids to me are basically nuggets with seeds, never bricked, never hard packed, its just good weed that got pollenated. As far as the sativa and indica thing, it is really more determined by the climate of the growers location. Indicas flower shorter than sativas making them more suitable for colder regions where they will need to be harvested sooner. In Mexico, it doesnt get cold, so sativas are more suited to grow there. So people growing Mexican sativas in the US, arent growing schwag, they are just growing a sativa whos origin happens to be from Mexico.

so obviously, if you google "helicopter marijuana" you will see what is going on with the huge 1000 plant grows being found, so there must be 10x that many escaping and suppling us. so the regular bagweed, the only Kind available to me from my source, is usually pretty decent with just a few seeds. so could we say that is likely us grown? mexican tends to have more seeds, do all the mexican bricks have seeds, is the goings on down there so big they can't get the males out? I would think in some heavily grown areas, like in Cali, there is some male pollen blowing around now matter what you do.

do you think most of the $200 commerical is indica or sativa? where does it come from. for me, in my nazi state, i can tell you it don't come from indoors, because the spies and snitches are everywhere, looking to take you down.

but not for me, ha ha, i am in my own little nook and crevice, and no one is going to "rip" me out nor is there any real heli's methodically looking. next problem will be what to do with my load. I'm a typical middle-aged dude, hiding my habit everyday from my honey, fun anyhow! spice to life. it's an addiction, but not all that bad of one, with its' enjoyment, and likely not too much of a health risk.

let it grow.

Yea there are many more major grow operations than most people realize. I know of (not personally) a few people who just got done harvesting some 5000 plants. Theyre planning on getting upwards of 1000 pounds of headies when its all dry. As far as what strains are more typically used for commercial growing, Im not sure. In my experiance Ive noticed that most lower grade, seemingly mass produced nuggets are sativas. However, indicas on the average have a higher yield per plant, so its hard to say.

I think indica's are a more commercial strain. They flower faster with bigger buds on smaller plants so they can make more money in less time and space.

Friend of mine grows mothers to sell clones. He only grows indica strains because he says thats what the people want.
