No. I've heard of something similar to stress the plant causing more resin production, I think it was.

I have heard you can make the stem stronger by putting nails through it.

Thats really not a good idea. When metal gets into plants or trees or anything like that they will die. Once when i was little i got a hammer and put a bunch of nails in the big ass tree out front of my house and we had to get it cut down casue it died and was gonna fall on our house. Thats how i know this little fact.

that could maybe be true with a tree and 100 nails but a weed plant is much different
you can beat the snot out of them and they come back.

My uncle ties his weed plants down with not string but boulders (BIG ROCKS)

I have seen pics with huge weed plants with a few nails in the stock..

The only way to induce flowering it to make it see LESS LIGHT.

I did that with my plant i put her inside at night and she started flowering a month early and she is 2 weeks to finish!

Im only a first time grower but puting nail through the main stem or any part of the plant will be just plain stupid, I have been told by a freind with bundles of knowledge is that during flowering if you lightly twist the stalks it will increase the levels of something which inturn increases the amount thc being produced. apparently as you lightly twist the branches you should he a light cracking sort of noise. I personally am not going to try this because I dont it works or may even damage the plant, I dont sugest any one else trys either unless you read up on it first. If any body chooses to try this do not blame me if it goes wrong.

Bad myth. Don't be jamming things into your plant, cutting the stalks or breaking them, or abusing it. It won't help the plant at all.

now there is supercropping.. but thats entirely different.

that sounds cool whats supercroping, I did think it was strange because any thing in my belief is that if it hurts the plant it cant be good.

i never heard of the nail but i have twisted my brances and they do seem to grow a bit faster and bigger. i heard since its broken inside the plant rushes extra nutrients to that branch thus making it bigger. but thats all on what you feel comfortable doin with your plants. if you dont want to risk losing yor plants i suggest you no try.

stressing the plant makes the pot better?

my uncle stomps all over his plants to get them to lay down so there not so tall, once he cant do it by foot he gets big huge Rocks to put over the main stem. His pot comes out really potent and great tasting. He also lives in far North Quebec in the Mountains.
