my set up, bird netting to stop animals?

Hi Guys, New here but long time growing, just trying something new.

I found these hydro products called auto pots, all u do is keep the reservoir full with water mixed with nutrients and the plant will drink & eat when it wants to. I'm going to use these in the bush. I have hose running up the hill hidden of course with a tap on the end so I would turn the tap on and go up with nutrients in hand and fill up the reservoir with water and nutrients. easy growing.

I was at the hardware looking for chicken wire and it cost a fortune, but seen bird netting to stop birds from fruiting plants. just wondering if anyone has had any experience with it and and mammals? we have possums and rock wallaby's that will devastate your crop flat out. not sure if they are smart enough to eat through the netting to get to the plants? anyway the net camouflages well so would love to use. any comments or suggestions on the netting. might have to do a test run with some cherry tomatoes or something and se what happens. less devastating that way I would think.
