extreme heat + buds

hey guys. its been extremely hot and humid around here, and when i go back to check every other day they are pretty dry. now i know they wont die because ill get water to them ASAP, and they will perk back up. thats not my question. my question is, will the bud they produce be effected at all by the extreme heat and leaves wilting somewhat? will they produce less bud or less potent bud? i guess im just asking because when they are all watered up and nice and green, they look much thicker and better with that pure green color - they just look like better quality plants, but when they dry out some, the leaves shrivel somewhat and they turn yellow a little, so it just looks like it would have some effect on the buds they produce. i initial answer to my own question is no, they wont be effected, but im not expert so thats why im asking you experts .thanks alot
