Yes, there is a possibility that the pollen will float to the female plants. How far away are the plants from each other? If it isnt far, then i would suggest telling your buddy to suck it up and rip the sucker out or visit the mofo every day and nip off the pollen sacks....it isnt worth seedy bud, thats for sure. As for walls, i have no idea, but i doubt it will work very well without attracting attention or wasting your time. good luck.
