Heavy Harvest

I just looked up and read about Heavy Harvest fertalizers. The stuff looks very good in that it provides all the micro and macro nutrients and a 3 step spring summer and fall fert. Your plants are seeming to thrive in it. I dont see anywhere on the Advanced Nutrients website what it's derived from, it only say's "Comprised of only the finest ingredients."
I've been using sea kelp derived products for awhile and have been noticing a tremendous boost in all of my gardening. I've also had a really pleasant experience using a foliar spray called "CHI" which contains chitosan salts. It thickens your plants cell walls by tricking your plant into believing that it's being attacked by insects, resulting in more oil and THC production. Also by twisting branches gently (generally with just your thumb and index finger) you will hear the brand 'snap', these micro fractures cause the plant to produce more oils and structure stronger.
BTW my friend was growing Cambodian Sativa hash plant X M39 (Friesland Indica) called Superfreeze from Prarie Fire Seed company (ordered from Marc Emery). Man! I sure miss that stuff! That was some great herb with a way up, soaring, energizing high. Sweet and piney smelling with a bit of skunky overtones and tasted like smooooth hash.

Happy Gardening

wow they have grown to be very nice plants.. How long does it take from seedling to where your at now? I am asking because I am up north also and on a mountain, people are saying I wont even get to see them grow. I am using a small amount of miracle grow and lots of water. And what was your spacing distance they look pretty close together are they?

Thanks

Well I usually start around late May (May 20 to May 30) to Early June (June 1 to June 7). So all my plants range from around 7 to 8 weeks old as of today. IF your really interested in learning get some books on outdoor growing there is alot of info in them, and by reading you will learn alot more than from this site. This site I find is good for all those questions you have after your research. But anyway, thats my advice.

Your right the space in the last pic I uploaded the plants are close together maybe 1 1/2 distance from eachother. Normally I try and give the plants a 2 to 3 foot radius space between eachother. What i do if the plants are to close together is i use steak posts and pin the plants down around all side to allow more light to filter thro them.
In that last pic I posted I harvested over 7 pounds (dry) from that area last year, the area is about 15 by 8 feet.

The icons above explain how i feel after last nights rain........what a f&*ken relief......in my area it hasn't rained before yesterday in over a month.....I was watering the dam plants twice to 3 times a week carrying 20 gallons per trip.....but after last nights rain I should be ok for another couple weeks I hope....I'm going to give the big momma's some more fert this weekend, so I'll check the soil then and gauge when they will need more.......Some of the plants I have are over 6 feet tall now and 4 to 5 feet wide.....So they absorb tons of water......<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
<o></o>
All the strains IM growing Freeze land, Dutch treat x Skunk, KC 33 and electric Purple. Some of them have already started to bud, I figure the Freeze land and the electric purple (both strains are from northern seed bank) should be ready for harvest in the Middle to late Sept and as for the DxS/ KC33 I figure early OCT to Mid Oct. I’ll get some good pics later this week and put em up.<o></o>

Well my plants are ranging from 1 week to 3 weeks into budding now, my earlier problem with lack of water is no longer a problem. Now I have to worry about mold, fun.<O
<O
So I figure most of the strains im growing (freezeland, Dutch Treat * Skunk, KC33, Electric purple) will finish at the end of Sept or within the first week of Oct. I guess the strains are earlier than what I was growing last year WW.
<O
I’m hoping for a total overall yield of 10 to 20 pounds, Ill be happy with 10 but 20 would be better. I have more pics to load I just haven't got around to it. All my plants range from smallest 3 feet to largest 6 feet, average of 4.5 to 5 feet for most of the plants. Some of the six footers are 6 feet in height and 4 feet wide.<O

Looks real nice, can't wait to see updated pics, this is when the real magic happens. I have a question for you about nutes. No grow stores close to me so I can't find advanced nutrients and am paranoid about delivery, but in the past have you grown or experimented with no bloom ferts and if so what would be your estimate of increase in yield and potency when using the high quality like A/N. Would you suggest cheap bloom fertilizer like miracle gro as opposed to none? I am not strictly opposed to using chemicals but worry with outdoor growing that the medium cannot be flushed before harvest as indoors hope this makes sense. Thanks and hope this year is as good as last.

Wow, that is amazing. You are my idol! It takes huge balls and evidently a ton of work for a grow that big. But that pay-off is gonna be sweet! Congrats again man and keep it up

Thanks, TT

A great grow op man. But what are those strings that are hung through the background on the first set of pics?? Are they so you can hang cover on them or is the place booby trapped..JK, but yeah just curious. Hope harvest is plentiful!

Thanks Patriofarmer, well the magic has arrived and all my spots are beautiful, dark green and budding (some purple, some pink, some yellow......arggg I love it). Well that’s a bummer that you can't find any A/N, but you can use bloom ferts from your local garden stores for flowers and fruit. Just get miracle grow, its good enough for now and its alot better than nothing, fer sure. As for worrying about flushing, just remember to not fert 2 to 3 weeks before your planned harvest time. But get out there and fert the fuk out of those MJ plants, they will love you for it. Peace.

Thanks alot TT, you inspire me to grow fields of weed.

Your right, just like anything I guess but yes the more work you put in the better the results are. So on those weekends when you feel like sleeping in, im waking up and trucking it thro the bush with mud in my eyes and a joint in my hand. Puff Puff.

And ya it does take balls I guess, See I love out door growing its in my blood and no one can stop me......so in my case its not big balls that enables me to do what i do, its passion and love for growing.......sorry if that’s cheesy, but that’s it passion of cultivating.....to bad I couldn't take that in school MJ 101.....lol.

Thanks Kyungyi, no there are no traps. I don’t need or desire traps. I use the string (hemp) as support for the plants when there bigger and it also helps to keep deer at bay.
