What are you using to take those pictures.

You can get a decent point an shoot for about $150.

That sucks that the wind/rain snaped that sucker it would have been a 1/2 pound right there.
A little late but:
Not saying you haven't done this yet but I used that green tennis netting to cover the top of mine. It breaks up the rain/wind and also lets in light.
When I stand under the netting I can still feel about 75-80% of the suns heat.
Were I live I need to keep the heat off in the peak of the day so I can keep the hairs from burning. Also keeps the bird crap and other stuff of the buds. (its also good for taking a nap under.)

Just an opinion.
Nice plants by the way.
