Raccoons...

Hello. Ive had a problem with some of my plants a couple weeks ago getting dug up but I put chicken wire around them (1') and they have been fine since (except the ones that died r.i.p.) But I just noticed the wire around the one was bent in from something hitting it then I noticed there was snail shells every where in the soil from the raccoons eating them off my plant. There was atleast 15 smashed snails under each plant. I thought I would have a problem with them because theres so many around but there ins't any on the plants any more. So should I do something to keep the raccoons away or let them feast on the snails..

Get some snail and slug bait. It comes in squeeze bottles, lay a line of snail death around your plants. The snails die, dont accumulate on the plants and no more attractant to the racoons. Or, get a good dog, Dalmatians are hyper enough to keep vermin away.

Thumbs up

get a gallon of anti freeze, and an oil pan to pour it into.

leave in middle of plants. let sit overnight for a week. goodbye raccoons, dogs, cats, deer, mice, squirrels, and anything else that could possible drink this deliciously sweet poison.

but yeah, nice. How do you know these are raccoons for sure and not something else? Have you seen them?

Lol... Maybe save that for plan B

And I think there raccoons because nothing else would pull them off my plants and smash them up to eat them. In my area atleast.. cause the only other animal that migth eat them would be a skunk (which I think dug my plants up before) But i dont think they could get to them.
