King's 2007 grow

Hey I just found a perfect spot for my 07 grow but this is also my first grow, and i have already just about read all i can read about outside grow and it has been a great help, but i still need a few pointers from people who have done it before to get an idea of how to max out my yield. I just ordered 10 early misty seeds from nirvana so they should get to me in a week or two (possibly more). There are a couple of definate questions i need to ask so here goes!...

What is the minimum distance i can put my plants from marijuana/other plants without comprimising the yield/health of my plants?

I assume i dont have to fill an entire area with soil just a hole, so what is a good depth/diameter i should dig my hole and fill with soil so i can get the max nutes into my plants for good health? (btw the natural ground im growing in is kind of a gray sandy soil so i doubt there is much nutrition in it although it seems the plants in it are thriving!)

Is it safe for me to germ my seeds in paper towels then when the taproot shows i can just bring it to my spot? Becuase i still live with my parents and i dont want to disrespect them by veging plants inside of thier house, if not then what is the safest way to go about starting off my plants?

I live by Fort Myers, Fl and im wondering if i plant these things in a week or two when will the natural photo period hit 12/12 and when is the peak time for me to plant these things?
