Too Late....?

Hey guys, me and my friend starting an outdoor grow about two months ago at his house. The plants are doing great, but I handed them over to my friend because I was sick of going over there everyday to check on them. Anyways what I was wondering was is it too late to start another outdoor grow. This would be my second time so im not really familar with the exact months you can plant in.

I live in SC so climate would be pretty hot and humid (101F today). Are there any certain strains I should look at that would survive better in a hot climate and starting late?

Sorry for so many questions and thanks in advance.

yea you should probably get an outdoor indica, and it should be a clone,
due to the fact that a seedling takes about 8-12 weeks to become mature enough
to produce anything decent...its too late for seeds if thats what you had in mind, but you could always throw them in the ground and see what happens, but it would probably end up as a waste of time

Hey Suspect -

I agree with your thoughts of growing an outdoor INDICA if starting this late but as far as starting from clone or seed I think either will work out fine!! Here is part of a post from last summer that I posted......

Of the 4 plants (they were 80% Indica & 20% Senti) -- 3 were male only 1 female.... That female grew just fine and started flowering (budding) at the same time as my other plants. It was only about 65% the size as the plants I started on May 10th but it did just fine and gave me 3.5oz of dried/cured weed when I harvested in early Oct. (My other plants gave me an average of 5.4oz of dried/cured weed per plant) So get things going ASAP and you will be fine!

So get your seeds in the dirts soon.... and get growing!

i've never tried to bud a seedling before, so i dont know how it would turn out.
but i know that clones can be thrown into bud as soon as they are rooted.
so id have to take your word for it for now , at least until i do my own experiments though
thanx for the input, peace
