Sunlight question

I have outdoor plants that only get about 3-4 hours of direct sunlight from about 11:00 AM until 3:00 pm. The rest of the day they're in bright light but there are trees around my garden which prevent direct sunlight. They are growing pretty fast. I started them on May 4th and some are already 36 inches high. Some are 30 inches, but none are smaller. Will the fact that direct sunlight is not on them for a longer period of time affect the outcome a few months from now? I'm not sure if the sunlight is a critical issue or not. So far I'm happy with what's growing but worried about them when they get to the budding stage. Do buds need a lot of sun? I should mention that I live in NY and the sun is on the plants at the hottest time of the day. I think this is a good thing.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

you should do fine. remember, the sun is better lighting, than anything man will be able to make. even indirect sunlight is gonna benefit your plant.

they'll be fine. In a couple of months you will notice the sun has shifted and you may be getting even MORE sun. Be on guard for pests!!!

Some of the best shit grown only gets about 4-6 hours of DIRECT, but its important to thin and manicure, and so that the buds get maxxed light, and definitely watch for pests if you have any kind of forest canopy above! They drop out of the trees right on your plants, branches too.
