when do outdoor plants start budding? i heard its the end of summer like early sept or late august .. can someone help me out?? thanks

same as indoor plants. when they receive 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness.

Outdoor plants don't wait for 12/12 before starting flowering, if they did that would be 21st September and most would be nothing more than budrot on a stick by the time harvest came. I believe that the plants detect lenghtening nights and once a critical point is reached flowering gets triggered. Here at 50North, depending on the strain this usually occurs early August, bit earlier if you are south of 50N, bit later to the north.

it all depends on where you live, for me (southwest ontario) they start mid august where there's around 13hr 20mins of light
