I'm a lucky bastard

Hah; I was going to grow earlier but someone stole my 70$ worth of Durban Poison seeds. I was in the woods like three days ago smokin' weed and I kind of half-heartedly dug up a small space, clearing it of non-psychoactive weeds, dug three small holes, and plopped some beans in there. That night we had a big rainstorm, so I came back up there the next day to smoke more weed (I love smoking in nature), and I dug up one of my seeds to find it had a nice li'l taproot coming out. I carefully put it back in the soil with the taproot oriented better with gravity and put the soil back over it.

I decided not to dig up the other two seeds since I don't want to damage them in such a delicate stage; for all I know they've washed away, but I'm hoping a few survive. Since when I first planted them I wasn't expecting anything, they're maybe . . . two feet from a hiking trail But it's a very neglected trail and hardly anyone walks on it. I'll still transplant it once it's sprouted. I figure I can just dig around it with a 5" diameter, and if it's just sprouted I should be fine as far as damaging the roots go.

The plant was definitely indica. I could tell when I smoked it . . . I was spacing out extremely badly and I even started talking to myself without noticing it while out to lunch with straight people. They could definitely tell and pointed out I seemed stoned, especially after I started staring at my fork for a good ten minutes and making a slight "buhbuhbuh" noise. That was with two bowls and it wasn't grown well (a few seeds), plus I have a fairly high tolerance, so if I really take care of these and keep 'em sinsemilla I should have at least half-an-ounce to an ounce of good dank bud (I'm guessing my yields will be rather low since I started so late).

I live in a very good climate for growing pot. Around harvest season we always get dozens of newsreports of hunters finding 12' plants, and in all the pics they're just planted right in the soil. I am a little worried it'll be too hot and humid for an indica. Don't they like a cooler and more arid climate? It never gets below 90 during summer's peak and the humidity is like 80%; I hope I don't get mold.

Anyway sorry I rambled so much. There's dank in town (FINALLY! I'm so fuckin' sick of mersch and high mids), and it's making my brain feel like a tangled ball of yarn.

So I went back up there and . . . we have cotyledons people Two li'l guys poking out of the soil. I planted three originally but one of the seeds was kind of white so I didn't expect that one to germ anyway.

Unfortunately there's a 60% chance of t-storms tonight. I hope they can handle some rain at this young stage.

Hope all turns out well...they are at the most delicate stage right now...are their a lot of animals in your growing area? If so, i would suggest getting some plastic mesh and putting it on the seedlings (just nudge the cotlyledons through one of the holes and leave room for movement) If deer were to stumble upon the plants, their noses would hit the mesh and it would scare them away.

Good luck and keep us updated. Oh yeah, that white seed still has a chance...I thought the smaller white seeds wouldnt grow, but to my suprise, some popped in the germ bowl!

Unfortunately, like hours after the "seed-shell" finally fell off on its own (I was too worried to pull it off myself :P) we had three days of big rains. The plants didn't make it

Oh well growing in those woods was pretty dumb anyway. I explored around there more to find some good spots and ran across four homeless-camps . . .
