Diagnosis anyone?

Hey guys,

I don't post here if at all. But i lurk a lot, nice forum

I've got this picture of my first ever plant, im planning to grow outside, but im going to start off growing inside.

Heres the problem
3 days ago, my plant sprouted and brought up the seed casing surrounding it, it is still half attatched to the top of the stem, i darent take it off just in case.

It is starting to droop over and get a little pale.

I watered the plant when it sprouted and again yesterday. Only small amounts though.

I was just wondering if i should move it into the sun more because it is on a window ledge and only sees over half of the days direct sunlight.

Or maybe i should water more?

I have planted 2 more seeds directly next to it and don't want my first grow to finish before it started.

P.S the seeds are bagseeds, im just trying this out as my friend is too scared to plant them.

Hi, hopefully the seed casing has now detached itself and your plant is up and running. Some do require a bit of very assistance in order to shed the casing, it's essential that the embryo leaves open. It does look a tad dry, is that soil? I suggest you try some multipurpose compost, water but don't waterlog, and no nutrients for at least 3 weeks. Good luck.
