soil question

alright, im sure this question has been asked a thousand times on these forums, unfortunately i have yet to find it
anyway, Im in my local Wal-Mart garden center looking at soil mixes, and im wondering which nutrient mix is the best? I found the only one that looked like it would apply to mj was Howard Johnson All Purpose for like shrubs and trees and whatnot its nutrient mix is 13-13-13, is this good or should i keep looking. Mind you all i have to look in for soil is Wal-mart, Home Depot, and a few local nurseries (small town) alright any insight is much appreciated

the soil for african violets by scotts is good, it's organic and pH adjusted and encourages flowering.

these are already pretty well establishes plants, im just going to transfer them into a bigger pot and then eventually into the soil. If i had to guess how old these were (they are sprouts from my careless deseeding) id have to say at least a month and a half old. they have 12 leaves on them if that tells you anything. thanks for the help
