can someone explain to me the basics of the male and female buds and whats the difference and how i can tell the difference?

also, is the whole plant either a male or female or is it the buds?

is it easy to tell the difference?

there are plenty of stickies to read in the beginers grow section of the forum, maybe check out some grow journals

i did, but it doesnt explain that type of stuff.

female- has small hairs that come out from where the branches and the main stem start.
Male- has small "balls" growing from where the branches and the main stem start.
You will be able to tell when the plant is 1-2 months old. Once you find out that it is a male. Kill it.
