snow in april
a few days ago, i planted some seedlings out in a field by my house. it was pretty warm outside, i was breakin a sweat walkin to my spot. 2 days later, it was snowing outside. i hate michigan haha. do u think theres any chance my plants will still grow, or should i plan on starting over?

haha thats pretty funny, but wierd. Did it snow across US? Cause i live in MD and it snowed here, i also know that it snowed in VA. Wierd lol. BTW, you have a kick ass purple block!

yea, i heard it was snowing down south in a few places even. weird ass weather for april. haha ive never even noticed that block until now. i need to put the bong down lol

I live in colorado and i have two 4 day old seedlings and unfortunately it snowed here to but today was one of the nicer days and theyre all doing fine. But this morning one had a piece of iceon its tiny little leaf! but like i said thyre nice and perked up and you would never no it 27 degrees the night before!

Hey, if you're in michigan detroit, then you're near ontario.
I've had snow here for the past four days. If we're that close, and we are, you should worry. You'll probably want to plant anew, if you don't have to. Plants that go through drastic colds in their young stages of life, just won't produce the same way that a stress free plant will.

Just my opinion.

yup it snowed here in va and killed 3 of my babies... now i only have 1... thank god i just ordered more seeds and these where only bagseed

Snowed in NY too, If I were to grow outside i would start my seedlings off under lights inside.

Definately start em inside under some compact fluoros.

12 days before you're ready to transplant, start to harden plants off.

On the first day stick em outside for an hour... second day 2 hr .... 3rd day 3. and so on. Transplant just before nightfall on the 12th day. Transplanting at nightfall allows for roots to establish a little before the next day.
