RUN SOME FISHING LINE AROUND AREA PLANTS ARE IN 5-8 INCHES ABOVE GROUND, TO STOP RABBITS AND DEER sry caps locked --spread moth balls around area -will keep animals and bugs away-- top that thing and maybe LST it to surrounding vegetation to make it blend in well- make sure it gets 6 hours at min of DIRECT sunlight-- if you plant in ground near pine trees use lime to help neutralize the soil- bone and blood meal and some water go a long way, and find natural mulch from area such as dead leafs or even logs or tree bark and surround base of plant as this will hold in the moisture to help cut back on waterings-- even use peat or perlite in your soil mix to help with water retention-------good luck-peace

^^ yes all a low line would to is trip it (this would be kinda funny to see but helpful? no) and make sure not to use anything under 15 pound test... all it would do is break if you used under that

id say the low line and the mothballs will keep deer out, they spook easy, but use strong test, you can also buy some fox urine from the hunting dept and put cotton balls in a film container and poke a couple holes in it and hang from tree, to help run off the deer
