New plants, New problem...

Ive noticed some yellowing and miscoloration on some of my leaves. Ive heard this can be do to not watering correctly. I need some ideas to get my beauties back to the rich green color they used to have. They're in 5 gallon buckets about 1- 1 1/2 feet tall now.

water only if the soil is dry past 2 inches deep into the soil and water slowly until the first drop of water comes out of the bottom of the pot (you better have holes down there!)

Yes i have holes in the bottom. Thanks for the tip. So the leaves are yellow from overwatering not underwatering?

I just found out my purp female is actually a hermy... Would removing the "balls" when i see them stop the plant from seeding and causing my other plants to seed. Would it cause my other plant to seed? The other plant is a female.

well depending on how many females you have i might keep it and move it away from the rest of the crop... i've heard hermies only produce female seeds (fun for next year)

I only have 3 plants ones still 2 inches tall the others are 1-2 feet tall. 1's female 1's herm. So I should just move the herm away from my other female?

if you want seeds for next year yes if not i dunno if cutting off the male parts would work if so it would hurt a plant as much as it would us (cutting off male parts) and stunt the growth/stress the plant so what ever you want to do

If I keep the pollen sacks on the plant but move it away from the other plant will it still seed the female? I don't want it to seed the other female. Is there away I can keep both plants and not have it pollinate my female? I don't know if i should just let the hermy grow and risk it pollinating my female or pluck it now and not worry about it.

THanks for all the help. How far apart do you think they should be for it not to pollinate the female?

well you could either make a mini greenhouse for it or cover it with clear plastic(dunno how well second one would work) but just think about it i'm sure you could think of something
