Growing Outdoors!

ok, i want to grow outdoors. But im wondering if there will be any difference if I plant them in the ground in some fresh soil i lay down for them or if i just put them in a 5 gallon bucket dropped into a hole... thanks for any advice ahead of time...

I guess both ways would work, it all depends. See if you use a bucket the roots can sometimes grow too large for it, but in a 5 gallon pot I don't think that would happen...so I guess it makes no difference

I think the bucket might hold water in it for longer than just the ground though

I'd recommend just planting them in the ground.. it's really less effort, I dont see why you wouldn't... but that's just me. Also the guy above me had some good points

how about growing above ground and just plopping a 5 gallon bucket spray painted forest green? Ill still get really good yields right? im growing a few 100% sativas outdoors so they'll be getting tall.

Its really impossilbe to dig a hole in the middle of the forest so this is way easier...

well..

unless youre worried you might have to remove your plants for some reason, then just growing in the soil is probably much better for your plants. Just prepare your soil well with lots of organic matter (use mushroom compost) and dont use bone/blood meal in your amendments unless you bury it below the first few inches..that attracts rodents etc..
