So
This is my first time attempting an outdoor grow.
The area were i live is ideal b/c there is always a good source of sun and the weathers USALLY pretty warm. (NC valley). I also live next to a mulch and manure buissess so theres any kind of mineral soils, mulches, manures, dirtsd, rocks imaginable.
So far in my growing quest i have..
- dug one 3'-3'-4' hole

so when planting, what kind of soil should i use . just manure? mix some? whats the best.
i know i know. no ferts.

If the manure is aged, in other words lasts years or decomposed I would use it straight. If it is fairly fresh mix it with dirt that came out of the hole. I never dig a hole as big as U are talking about, but some do. I usually dig a hole about 18" wide 30'' deep fill it with old cow manure, but break it up and mix it good. When it starts to bloom put a 2 cups of bone meal in the soil about 2'' deep and cover it with dirt. U could mix the bone meal as U plant, it won't hurt.
