Anyone Got Tips For This First Time Outdoor Grower

so i have never grown outside, tryed once inside but my parents didnt want me growing so they got rid of it, luckly it was still small then so i didnt have to spend to much work on it.

i have done my research and i would say i know a ton for never really growing before, but i never growed before. and most the research stuff i did was for indoor growing.

i live in northern part of minnesota in a small town of around 10,000 people or so. so i am gona try to do a guerilla grow. i am still working on finding a couple good spots. i am planning on growing maybe 2-4 patches in diff locations with a couple plants in each patch. i am hoping to start the plants off at my freinds bc i my parents wont let me, but i am not sure if i will be able to start them off there. my parents say as long as i live in there house i gota follow there rules till i move out.

anytips for me about anything would be greatly appreciated.

hey man my tips are to
apply new mulch around the bottom of your main stem of each plant every 4 weeks.
use a cage.
choose a hill facing south and plant close to a natural spring.
make sure the earth you choose isnt too heavy.

whats the cage for? to keep deer and other animals from eating it, or to keep it upright and not let the wind snap the stem or for wat. because i am doing a guerilla grow and if someone sees a cage around a plant that would look really suspicious. unless i find a really good grow spot.

anymore tips would be greatly appreciated

yeah protection because if they r unprotected and small they will just get eaten. when it comes to outdoor growing it pays to protect. otherwise u might only end up with one plant tht survives or perhaps even none. you wouldnt leave your car on the street overnight with all doors unlocked would you?
it is a great way to amp your yield almost like a outdoor vertical scrog. u wont be able to see the cage once its filled with branches n leafs poking out of it. nothing big or anything i.e a roll of chicken wire at least 3 ft tall. as for being seen if they r then your spot you choose was poor anyway. no point planting in an area with lots of human traffic.

when the plants are young and have recently been moved outdoors try supporting them with thin wood spikes carefully put them next to the stem in the ground and get a twisty tie and loosely tie it to the stem this will help support against the wind/rain/storm

Assuming that you are just going to plant the seeds in the ground, any tips on how to prepair the soil prior to planting?

Any tips on how far apart to space seeds when planted? Best number of plants per grow patch?

you want everything to look "natural" from the sky. If a cop in a helicopter sees lines of plants all organized and stuff then it looks sketchy. you dont want too many of them in one patch, but you also dont want it looking like somebody is cultivating them either.
