Hey guys, im pretty excited to say I have a very large hedge-row behind my house and will use it to my advantage.. lets say that if i lived in upstate newyork, not saying that i do or anything

Dude upstate New York to me sounds like cold weathers for outdoor grows...

Yeah, I've been to upstate NY a few times, and its pretty cold. I suggest you grow indoors.

Upstate NY is a large area with different climates. Its the entire state of NY minus Long Island and Manhattan. The catskills are pretty mild, but the adirondacks are cold in the spring and fall. You have to be a little more specific man. These forums are safe, just tell us your county.

How tall are the hedges btw?

And if there's a bustle in your hedge-row, don't be alarmed now. It's just a spring clean for the may queen

weed grows great here, the frosts wait long enough for flower to occur. Cold is relative... i live in the upstate, and its plantin season is the beginning of april to mid april... startng your plants inside is a good idea tho, tis my idea.

I manage to grow outdoors in the uk and it's pretty cold over here at times..

Agree with eclipse - nothing wrong with bagseed, if you liked the smoke bagseed will grow you some more of the same.
Better even if you take the trouble to dry and cure it properly.

well i'm in vermont, which is the same climate as upstate NY. you'll want to start your plants indoors (if you can) about late march or early april. they can go outside as soon the last frost is over.
