I was reading some stuff on a seedbank site and they say that alot of theyre plants will give me little to no buds because i live in ohio and the season doesnt last long enough for them to flower, is this true and what would you guys suggest as for a plant to grow outdoor in my situation? If you think it would be a good idea to start the plant inside and let it get about 6 inches tall before season comes in let me know but 6 inches is all the room I have. "don't ask why" but I would much rather suggestions on using certain plants please.

i am in ohio too, and it is quite a predicament...if i remember right, this year our 12/12 started around the middle of september, and our first frost was mid november..

thats like 7-8 weeks
so if you get a strain with a short flower period, i would think you would be fine.

The autumnal equinox is ALWAYS on 21 September all over the world.

And if you had ever done an outdoor grow you would know that plants start to bud long before this, round about early August mostly. 12/12 is just a convenient point for INDOOR growers to set their timers.

nope, havn't grown outdoors, didnt' claim to, i was going by what was said on the news, thanks for clearing it up.

So not having enough time to flower is not an issue? I'm worried about it, I don't wanna buy some good seeds and get all excited about my plants to find I will get a dime from each. I've been studieng this growing art for a few months and am clearing up all my unanswered questions now. also may you guys suggest a good outdoor plant? keep in mind this is my first grow.
