my friend put his weed into jars too soon and had some white fluffy mold growing out of his buds from the inside. It was was on all of the buds. When he noticed the mold he immediatly put it in a food dehydrator to dry the weed and stop the mold growth. It only took about and hour in the dehydrator to finish drying the buds to a crisp but not to powder. Is the weed safe to smoke? It looks alright but you can still see the mold. Will the mold continue to grow or is it dead due to the weed being dry now?

i had the same problem happen on some of mine. i posted the same thread and a few people told me to make bubble hash, but getting sick is not nearly worth getting a buzz for a few hours. i tossed my 2 ounces and your friend should do the same

I had some of my bud do the same, it was like a spidery web all over it with white spots... it wasn't really bad, i dried it out and the mould did die but im pretty sure it remained on the bud.. i smoked it and ive almost finished the bag and it seems fine.

Actually spotted a little mould on 2 more of my bags only very small patches so i whipped them out straight away.

youre supposed to open the jars alot and let the chemicals and moisture out and i bet he didint do that...i recommend a shoe box open alot then slowly close it over a period of time...by alot i mean about half the lid open then after about two week period the lid should be closed... then a week with a closed lid and you should be done,and ready to smoke it

I too have found mould....I just dried as norm,cured as usual, and rubbed off the mould as I went to roll it up.

You really should not smoke weed that has been mouldy. I say sell it quick but I keep getting rocks from the good guys.
