Mold problem

there is some mold growing on one of my outdoor plants. odd thing is, it's not the buds molding, but the stems, right at one of the nodes (1 spot for now).

my question is, should i monitor it closely and leave it as is for now, hoping the buds can mature a bit more, or should i just cut the stem right under the moldy spot and leave the rest of the plant? the problem with doing so means i'd have to cut the last 20-ish centimeters of my cola, which isn't moldy. but i'm thinking that if i leave it like that, the cola will end up molding too...

dilemna...

thanks for your help guys

Cut it before it spreads - it will spread. I had to chop early this year too.

Check your plant(s) thoroghly - there's probably more.

It could be spider mites.....Try spraying some soapy water (dish soap) on affected area. This should take care of the problem. If that don't work cut off off affected area only if necessary.

thanks guys. have checked the rest of the plant, and no mold at all anywhere else.

probably will chop the affected parts off and leave the rest to, hopefully, mature a bit more.

it's not that far from being ready anyway. quick-dried a bud a couple days ago and the high was more than satisfying.

crappy weather... need to move to somehwre where it's always sunny ^^
