Outdoor garends, coverage.

Looking to cover up my yard some with other plants, Anyone have any suggestions on what to use? Probably go with something I can buy at home depot or something and transplant in. Something bushy, but resistant to bugs etc. or does anyone else have anyother camo suggestions? im not doing a big grow, I just want some other plants to shield maybe 5-6 spread around the yard.

A few christmas trees for starters. Fast growing, shape quite similar, would provide good camo.

Excuse the double post.

How´s about this one, Echium pininana, I took a pic of the book. A bi-annual, fast-growing to 10 feet + high. Native to the Canary Islands. Clearly not MJ to the casual observer but would give great camo to an MJ amongst them.

I'd also consider plants that spider mites like (hibiscus) better they eat a hibiscus than your girls

No, it doesn´t work like that - just because spider mites are attracted to hibiscus, that doesn´t make hibiscus a good choice. The opposite IMHO.

I know it sounds crazy but it works...wild blackberries are a favorite of mites, they are covered in them and My girls outdoors are planted within inches of huge berry patches(despite conventional thinking), I also believe spider mites have preferences in Mj strains they want to eat. I have had a grow room with 16 different strains, I took in 2 clones from other growers that had mites and infected the grow room with re-occurring mite issues, always the same strain would be affected they had the opportunity to spread but for the most part stayed confined to the favorite strain.

I also found that an infested plant, particularilly when in bud and you cant use insecticides, can be controlled by placing the pot outdoors "in the brush" I actually wrap weeds , grasses ect around every branch of the pot plant, the majority of the spider mites move off in a couple days to better tasting vegatation.

what's wrong with the standard issue...tomatoes. same growth cycle, same color, size, etc. plus you get to eat tomatoes when your entire grow fungises!

Possibly all a bit academic anyway, as the thread originator appears not to be sufficiently interested to read any replies.
