Couple of questions about growing outside...

I just have a couple of basic questions about growing...I tried the search button but they do not answer my question to the fullest potential. I want to have everything perfect for when i start my outdoor grow next year and theres a couple of questions that im trying to get answers to.

1. If i want to grow outside, should i grow them in puts first and then transplant?? If i do that, whats a safe way of transplating so that I won't mess up the plant?

2. When should I start adding fert?? What does it do, and how much of it should i use?

3. How do i know when the plant goes from vegging to flowering??

4. How frequently do I need to water my plants if they are outside?? How frequently do i need to add fert???

I will add for questions as I think of them, thanks to the people that are going to asnwer these questions and not tell me, "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON"

For transplanting indoor to outdoor I use a few small phases to prepare my plant for the change slowly to prevent death or severe shock, firstly I like to make sure some wind wont just knock it over and ruin all my work so for like 10 minutes a day slightly shake you're plants pot with ur plant in it so the plant kinda sways around this will strengthin you're stalk next get it used to the sun, put ur plant right up against a window so it gets light from the sun and make sure you have a fan on it high enough to resemble wind and every now and then open the window. All of this should take about 2 weeks then let it be in nature. Thats just how I do things you can modify my steps to you're desire. and by the way, the reason they want you to use the search button is because #1 making topics and posts takes up space and the websites only have so much space so the more we use the more they pay monthly! #2 everyone is sick of seeing the same questions every day when u could find the answer with in 5 minutes of searching on you're own

Watering? Depends on your climate. In high summer, if I donīt water every 24, my girls are wilting by 36.

People in cooler climates can get away with a lot less. Places like the UK where it rains ALL the time, you never have to water at all, just need to add ferts.

start off in 10" by 8" pots for a couple months until sex is determined and choose the best/healthiest plants for transplant, males appear waay before females.

prepare a grow in the ground before ur season starts and make sure it's fertile (dark humus) soil, dig 2x3 foot holes and add some organic potting soil, the area needs to be open for full sun.

an underground watertable like one that would appear next to a fresh-water river would be optimal at 3-5 ft depth in winter (watering would be cut down completely),

fertilize every week, this simply supply's the plants with primary and secondary nutrients for the plants to thrive. use 20 20 20 for veg. 10 30 15 for flower. or buy general hydroponics the floraseries and follow directions.flowering commences once the longest day of the year ends.

get busy, it's not a simple task, and mistakes will be made, just be smart and be one step ahead of raiders and random problems that gurantee occur, at the start ur plants won't be perfect and you may get fucked over by animals and slugs so make physical barriers, just grow as many as possible, check them everyday for hazards, and don't scarse out on watering, its the most important thing too keep soil moist until top 1 inch dries out, then re-water. never let the soil dry out!

my thread: dd cat pee ne1 herd, contains my grow and useful info for a beginner.

also in reply to bubbles awkward methods, just use thrive alive B-1, this contains vitamin b1, good for root structure.
