Exclamation Rain Rain Go Away!

I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem that I'm currently having. It's sooooo sooo close to harvest where I live and it has been raining for the past 2 weeks. Like 4-5 days a week its raining. Sure I am worried about bud mold but I just want it to stop raining. It has been really cloudy for the past 2 months and now rain. This is the time of year when I get excited about all the hard work my ladys have done but I also forgot about how much it rains. So far this year I have avoided "Deer, Spider-mites, Black Aphids, Floods, LEO, and Nosy Neighbors." Now they are saying in the next 7 days it will rain 2 of those. I hope everyone else is having a better time then me. Next year I hope for better weather for us all. (^-^)

It doesn't take long for a breeze to dry your plants. My plants seem to be doing well in spite of the rain but my grow is on well drained land. I've been keeping a close eye on mine since some deer ate a third of my crop two weeks ago.Observation....the way the plants hold water on the small leaves in the flower is almost surreal when looked at under a flash light before daylight,A small transister radio tuned to talk radio seems to annoy the deer so they've stayed away so far.I find that the hardest thing is the wait for exactly the right time to harvest them.Good luck

I learned my lesson about 6 years ago when I had 15 out of 16 6 foot tall plants(I don't know why they didn't touch that last one but I hope they got sick and died) in the second week of the flowering phase chewed down to nubs. I think on a quite night you can still hear my screams echoing in the distance. I have had great success keeping deer from my plants since then. I never urinate into the toilet anymore which might have made my water bill go down which is a plus. I take a leak into plastic bottles visit it my grow area about 1-2 times a week with my bottles and cover every tree and plant and inch of ground in about a 5 foot perimeter. And take a nice healthy piss while i'm visiting. Nothing comes near it. Sure your friends will think your weird for having piss bottles all over the house but it's worth it.

sounds like a scene from the trailer park boys yes the pissing helps I've been doing that too. I guess all this rain washed the scent away. I just posted a thread entitled correct me if I'm wrong for pix and opinion

hey bros what works for me is if you have some human hair wrapped in a little cloth and hang them from trees ALL around your grow. this will freak the deer (and other animals) out becuase they think your right there or are constantly visiting it (adding piss doesnt hurt either ^_^). idk just thought id throw my advice into the convo lol
