FROST ADVISORY for CT

FROST ADVISORY FOR TONIGHT

At least for my area in CT. That desktop weather thing paid off, just gave it to me, here it is:

...FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM EDT SATURDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A FROST ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 9 AM EDT SATURDAY.
AIR TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST TO FALL INTO THE MID 30S ACROSS MUCH OF INTERIOR SOUTHWEST CONNECTICUT FROM LATE TONIGHT INTO EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. THESE COLD TEMPERATURES COMBINED WITH LIGHT WINDS AND MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR FROST DEVELOPMENT.
A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.

Take appropriate action everyone

My plant has survived snow from when it was started so I think it can survive a little frost tonight.

hmmmmmm, how much snow? I would think that frost might be more detrimental then a light dusting of snow though. Interesting.

Where are you that you're getting snow?

Well I brought mine inside and stunk up the entire place. We had the warning but I got nothing, just cold again. Supposed to get showers today and just straight rain tomorrow I think. CHRIST, I'm fighting this friggin mildew and we just keep getting rained on, I might just keep bringing them inside, but that sucks.

I kinda got started late this year. My plants are only about 1" tall right now. I live in Arkansas and the cold weather is coming fast. Unfortunaltly i dont have the luxury of bringing my plants inside. Is there anything i can do to prevent the frost from killing them? Or am i sol.

Forgive me for sounding stupid, but do you frost/snow in arkansas? You probably have an added month or two on us (northeast), no?

It hasent frost or snowed yet, but it was 42 a couple of days ago. And when frost was mentioned i figured those from up north might know how to better deal with frost.

42 is fine, but she still sounds a little small, has she started budding?
