I was thinking of growing a plant in my backyard, because it'll be easy to get water to and stuff, just like one or two maybe, for an experimental grow (first-timer here), and I was thinking about growing it amongst these fern type plants that would be about maybe 2-2 &1/2 feet tall. The weed wouldnt stick out because the colour is the same and stuff, but how could I keep the plant short enough to stay concealed? ( BTW its also under a feijoa tree of which the bottom of the branches is about at 5 ft, that might provide nutrients because we never take the fruit, just leave it to drop.)

read up on lst or topping and fimming. Both will be able to keep a plant small, and when put together it works even better.

Thanks alot, I will definitely look into this, and do you say it stops the plant smelling?
