had a quick question or 2, spanishfly will pry know this or whoever could help... well this year i live in northern usa east coast close to nyc... whats it looking like for harvest time, i usually wait until i see 45 degrees or under or the "weatherman" says the first frost is coming? please is this right or have i just gotten lucky, im thinking mid to late sept. they are flowering but not done yet females outdoors.. any other help about harvesting or anything is also helpful i do know about curing so besides that. thanks every1

Hey -

I live several hours north of you....(7 hr drive) & I usually wait until the 1st or 2nd week in October..... Listen to the weather and make a plan. Indica cycle takes 8 or so weeks to full flower so don't try to harvest to soon unless the weather is not good and you have to.....

Thanks for the mention in despatches. I harvest when about a third of the trichomes are amber - that suits my taste. I will have my first look at the trichomes this weekend, all the plants were started at the same time but they will probably be at quite different stages of trichome development. I usually chop the first girl in early September.

Now I am fortunate, I don´t have to worry about frosts, I can take my time. But if you get a frost alert chop them babies quick and get them in a frost free place to dry. Good luck.

my problem exactly..is 45 out now. so how much/what kind of light do they need in a sunny room..

about 3 wks into flower

Is there such a thing as a sunny room??

Can´t help there myself, I am strictly an outdoor grower, maybe someone else is able.
