drying box setup...should it work?

hey guys, i jus want some advice or opinions on my idea for a drying box. its pretty simply so i jus want to make sure that it will work properly. 1st, get a big tote, like the ones used to store clothes, etc in. try to get a black one so it restricts the light as much as possible. then just cut some little inch or so holes in a few places on the top and side of the tote - this will allow for ventilation. I was jus gonna put it in the back of a closet, with the top on, and the buds in there, hanging from some string. then simply put a van on low speed in the closet...not directly on the tote holes, but just in the general area so that the air can get into the tote without being directly on the buds. then jus wait a few days and check them every once in a while until dry. How does this sound? i think it has everything a dryin box needs...darkness, ventilation and dryness. should this work? please criticise it however u feel necessary, thanks alot.

I dry my plants by hanging them in a closet until the leaves are crunchy. I then manicure the buds removing the buds from the stem and using scissors to remove leaves. I then place the buds in a plastic tote lined with a brown paper bag to help dehydration and catch the fallen kif and leave the top unsealed for the first day. The next day the buds arent crunchy anymore because they leech out hydration from inside the buds. I turn the buds in the tote(bottom to top) fluffing the buds. Then I seal the top till my next visit in about twelve hours. By this time the bud is ready to smoke in a bowl but a joint wont stay lit. I repeat this for a couple of weeks (this is called curing) until a joint wil stay lit then I put the buds in mason jars for stash. If you keep the curing herb exposed you might have a problem with mold.
