hey guys, just a quik question. i germinated my LR seeds last week and i planted them on Sunday, july 30th. it is now august 3rd, and all of them havent showed signs of popping thru the soil except for like 2, they have a tinyyyy little bit. is this normal for it to take this long to pop thru the soil? have u guys ever had to wait like 4-5 days before they broke the soil. thanks for ur help

4-5 days is average to break soil.

thanks. maybe i jus put them too deep. what happens if u plant them too deep...do they die or do they just take a lil longer to pop? i jus checked them and only 2 have popped, so im hoping the rest will too..is there any variable that will prevent them from popping the soil? there tap root was pretty long when i planted them, but the shell hadnt fallen off yet so that shouldnt be it...? but wel see this weekend if they finally come up. thanks spanish fly

Man it is really late to be planting this time of the year. Are you planning to take them inside to finish them? It takes a few days for thrm to pop out of the ground. If they are to deep they could die before they reach the top. Make sure the soil is loose not packed that will make it easy for them to come out. Good luck on growing so late in the season.

im growing some lowryders, so they should be able to finish before the frost. i hope i didnt put them too far down.

well im not feeling that confident for some reason now. i sort of brushed away the dirt on one pot and the stem was broken in half underneath the dirt

. i did this to two of them and they both were pretty much dead. i cant understand why. if they dont work im gonna be upset jus b/c i broke my damn back and sweated for hours trying to get al that soil there. i jus wish 10 would pop. but o well, i dont really need anything answered, im just letting u guys no.
