I've heard that complete darkness is a must, then again i guess natural plants are lit by the moon all the time.

Sorry i couldn't help bro

No problem, my ladies grow under a big yellow sodium street light, it does not affect them at all.

After all, MJ has evolved for millions of years under a bright moon.

Dammit Fly i hope your right... Well im pretty sure your right.

Im so anxious 'bout my grow. But you have the experience with this exact problem. I just hope that my babies show some pistil hairs(or something!!!) before the 15nth of August. I dont think ill be so anxious waiting for the buds to grow out, but this waiting to even be able to SEX the plants is wearing on my nerves!

This is a common comment, plants have been growing for months and showing no sex at all. I donīt really understand why, all my plants have shown sex by 8 weeks, most of them by 4-6 weeks.

Are you all sure you are looking at the right things? With a lens if necessary.

Yup, im lookin at the right spot. I have looked at many picts online, i know to where to look and since about mid-july things have started to grow in those spots. I do see something. A conical little thing that are about half the height of the stipe.

What im not seeing is pistils or multiple sac-like protrusions. I have looked at them with magnifiers. Either of these would be enough to be 100% sure.

Perhaps you can tell what a female flower looks like easier cuz youve seen them up close, over the course of their growing, and seen some go male or female.

Right now all of my three plants are all about the same height, with the same growths on each. I planted these in May sometime. So theyve been up for between 8 to 12 weeks. They get about 6 hrs of direct sun, almost 4 feet tall(theyve been topped and LSTed)

I bet you could probly tell what they were if you saw them in person, but for me its not quite so definitively easy. I wish i had a digicamera, atleast to document such tiny preflowers.

I've heard that it depends on the kind of light and that it must be brighter than the light produced by a full moon. Other than that you should be golden.
