the temps. around where i live is gonna be around 40C for the next week maybe even longer and i was wondering how high is the risk for mold development in my plants

It does depend on the humity

....but 40 C thats really hot, i would tend to doubt if mold would develop in that temp. I would worry about watering them enough, before mold...

Ive only experiened mold when the temp was cool and wet..... maybe 6 to 12 degrees or colder. For me that's earlier October aroundish.
