mixing flowering and vegging ferts...

hey i was talking to a person on another forum about flowering ferts and al that. he told me that at the beginning of the flowering period, u can actually mix the flowering and vegging ferts in equal amounts. then u simply reduce the amount of vegging ferts u add, and go solely with the flowering ferts. he said this way u can still get some growth while the budding process starts, and then when they start to bud fully, u will be giving them just flowering ferts. what do u guys thinkof this idea? any comments are appreciated. thanks

I don't really see how that would help. Unless you have those ferts where you have a bunch of different kinds that you have to mix at different times.

I think that would make it to risky of overdosing the plant with to much of one mineral. I would decide one way or the other. If you still want them to grow use vegging if your satified with there size then begin flowering ferts.

It will carry on flowering, but the buds may not get as big.

biggest priority in veg in overall growth. priority in flowering is to get the biggest and most potent buds as possible.
