OMG! tied down plant and stem split in wind!

OMGOMGOMGMOOGMOG damnmdamndmnanmda!

I tied all branches to one side.. I thought she would be ok.. but harsh winds rolled in

I just checked on her and the all the main stems split down the stalk of the plant.. luckily they were all still connected.. but all the leaves were mad droppy! Like it hand't had water for a while (it was watering day tho, but they are never that droppy)

my question is: Will the plant survive?? I think it will.. but all the leaves looked almost dead!

*I took of the training rope and tied it to all the main stems for support.. should I do anything else?!

thx!

aw man really?!? fuck manan so happy that it will live.. but it will defiantly take energy to heal.. I will go up later and make sure the it is tied very well..

whats best? duck tape? its like 4 main stems that split down the stalk..

there isn't any sacred plant healing ointment I can apply right? :P

Ya it will definately put a slow down on the growing but give it time and it will heal itself.
As for what to tie it with I would prolly say string or twist ties cuz it would be a bitch to get duct tape off and if u had a pic it would be easier to help u.

So i go back up there and the stalk is split even more! the plant is so top heavy it cannot support itself and the string barely helped..

So i tape the fuck out of her and then put in a cage (like for tomatoes) to give support to all the branches so it will not further stress the split in the stalk.

I think this should do it. Its ugly but I think it will work

Sounds like you have done the best you could. Fingers crossed now, but MJ is a tough sonofabitch. Good luck to you.

try wrapping the stem tightly in plumbers teflon tape that should hold it together really nicely

thx for the advice, but the plant seems to have bounced back already..

The leaves are strong and straight, but i still will leave the stem tapped + tied and keep the tomatoe cage around it

Ive got 3 stems duct taped right now. It seems to be working great, the kool thing about duct tape is it will support the plant even if you dont wrap it tight. Yea it might be hard to remove at harvest, but if the choice is between and 1/8 of extra weed and a half hour of extra work(probly an exageration)...ill do the work.

As long as you didnt wrap it too tight, so the stem cant grow, id just leave it on. Cuz you might end up damaging the plant in the removal process.
