so male plants you dont get weed off of and female plants you do?

Male plants - Produce pollen.
Female Plant - Procuces flower clusters (buds) with sticky resin on them (THC), to receive this pollen. If a plant is pollinated, seeds will be produced in the flowers (buds). If no males are around to pollinate the females, you get seedless flowers with lots of resin. Hope this helps. - Vince
