* Yellowing wilting * Lower Leaves * 2 Months

1st grow in man many years... have some yellowing/ wilting on lower leaves.

1 - strain sativa unknown
2 - 2 months old - about 3 ft high.
3 - on indoor balcony 5 hours direct sun/ day - windows open 24/7
4 - good soil, draining (original PH 7 so it could drop a little!) I hope at least NO PH tester.
5 - using 20-20-20 NPK only used about every 3 waterings a little lighter than instructions.
6 - in 2.5 gallon buckets.
7 - good new growth, green all around except a few lower leaves.
8 - watering .75 liters ~ every 3 days (sometimes I see a little wilting before watering. good drainage)

*** see images attached ***

Can anyone help.. it is not bad at the moment but I do not want this to get worse so i am being careful. I have read in a couple of threads that this maybe normal...

Thanks....

It's normal. Probably 5 hours direct light is not enough for the size of your plants, and the light doesn't reach the lower leaves that much. Or nute solution might not be enough for the size of plant. Nice plants, btw.

thanks souled... i thought that also at one point... too bad no else is is helping.. more opinions help everyone make good decisions... I think that I have been pretty detailed.. maybe that is the prob...

to much or to little ferts seems to be a big question.. so far 2 say need more N and one says possible to much N. the funny thing is the guy who says too much is a good friend and very knowledgable... however, i think that they may need more N.

ANYONE ELSE???

1 hot day shouldnt cause them to turn yellow and wilt immediately, my indoor crop just went thru a week of 110 degee heat wave

how much water and how often are you watering, stick a finger deep in the pot is there a wet layer?

yellowing leaves is normal they will dry up and fall off when theyre not needed. your ferts, you say you fert every three waterings and you water every three days? so you fert every nine days?? thats not enough. if you're watering every three days i would fert every other watering. water --- 3days --- fert --- 3days --- water --- 3days --- fert

I vote that they need more N

If you are feeding them and they are still looking like this it may be because you have a nutrient lockout problem. Over time with feedings there is salts that build up in the soil and they prevent the roots from taking in the nutes. It jams them up. To remedy this you need to start by flushing the plant out. That is running three times as much water as pot size through the pot. That washes out all the unwanted salts. At first you will see the water is very yellow, then it will get clear. That means you are good to go. Then you can feed them and the plant will be able to digest the food.

I apologize for my writing..english is my second language.
