Ban on Cannabis Amsterdam 'Drunken Measure'
AMSTERDAM - The introduction of a ban on cannabis smoking in Amsterdam to fight the problems caused by youths smoking weed is 'a drunken measure' according to a spokesman from the BCD (Cannabis Bond). "it is a measure with a high ethnic taste, meant to tackle mainly Maroccan youths hanging about"

Personally I don't believe it. That site just doesn't look reliable for some reason, and a quick search through the news didn't turn up anything else about it.
Maybe I don't believe it because I don't want to, but whatever. If I see it from a source that I trust, then I'll have to give in.

not propoganda
This isn't propoganda, theye are going to try it for a year, and if successful they'll carry on. It was voted in by a majority and it only applies at present to Amsterdam, and the only where there are problems, mainl away from the centre. Amsterdam west and such places

shezz, no one is calling you a liar, but all of these things are being pulled out of context. Unless we are actually there we aren't going to get the full picture. If you read through this particular room you will see all the contradictory stories that have to do with Amsterdam banning marijuana. It is misleading and just not true.
Please don't be alarmed by our responses, we are strictly talking about the contents of the thread not those posting in it.

one cannot show results in a year.. prohibition or no prohibition, people are going to do drugs in every form.. whether they are hard or soft drugs, people will get their hands on them.. what governments should do is be responsible and not let black markets control them and bring gun crimes to unspeakable levels

Yes, gun crime is pretty bad, and not just handguns, machine pistols the lot. There are a lot of guns in Holland

I'm a Dutch Person....
The Dutch Government makes way to much money on MJ for them to put a ban on it... Not only directly on its taxes, but its also the main reason vacationers go there... Well that and the red light district There is now way in hell that will ever come about...

looks like you got everything you posted here from your own site, which has very short articles and no references whatsoever. I ask, are you getting your info from an actual reliable source? The only source I've seen you use is The Sun, which I think is some tabloid magazine. Please stop the bullshit if you are lying. Nobody wants to read a 3 sentence article about weed getting shit on in Amsterdam. Everything you say doesnt seem right to me. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, oh well, it doesnt matter anyways.
