Snoop Dogg Endorses Marijuana Flavoured Sweets

Snoop Dogg has been condemned for endorsing marijuana flavoured sweets.

The unruly rapper and Paris Hilton both appear in advertisements for ‘Chronic Candy’, a series of lollipops and gumdrops all with a bit of twist!

The confectionary which is advertised with the catchphrase “Every lick is like taking a hit” has been causing moral panic amongst politicians in the states.

Manhattan councillor Margarita Lopez gave an interview to the New York Daily News and asked: "How could we go into the market and create a product for children that encourages them to taste marijuana?

"What is the message? 'Use drugs', that is okay?"

The sweets, imported from Switzerland, do not contain ‘THC’ the main ingredient in marijuana, but they are sold in packs that resemble the drug.

Chronic Candy boss Antonio Montana defended the sweets, saying that they are strictly not for under 18s. He told the same paper: "Give me a list of what we can do to keep these things out of kids' hands, and I'll do it.

"I don't think kids should be eating them. It's an adult thing."

I have had one of the chronic suckers befor and they are OK. They taste kinda like weed but more sweet. Fuck the candy, stick to the real deal.

yeh i tried the lollipop it doesnt actually taste exactly like weed. I didnt like it that much.

i tasted the lollypo too.

didn't like the taste, and did not recognize any weed taste whatsoever..

the gummy worms taste just like herb. smells like it too. the shits too expensive though
