YOU KNOW IVE NOTICED THAT (sorry jsut realized caps lock was one) all of these "studies" that involve cannabis always refer to "cannabis cigarettes" or "marijuana cigarettes"

what if you didnt smoke "marijuana cigarettes" then is it a completely different ballgame? Granted i havent searched much, but ive yet to see anybody point this out.

Maybe they should use natural hemp papers (lol) or even a glass piece.

Probably testing cells grown on a petri dish by subjecting them to cannabis smoke, what happens in a lab can often be very different than in a person.

i think tobaccoo alters your DNA WAY more.. seeing how many cases of cancers and stuff it has cause to millions of people worldwide through out the years...

True that. Exposizing cells to cannabis smoke can be very different than actually in out body as we have many of cells that work together and lots of other shit in our body haha
I do know that LSD has chromosomal damaging effects. A friend if mine gave birth to a baby missing the top half of it's head and the doctor accredited it to chromosomal damage

in response to the topic, of course cannabis MAY alter dna. In LABORATORY CONDITIONS pretty much anything can alter a single cell(especially if thats the goal of the researcher, dohh!)

Who are they kidding? Mutations occur all the time in the body, but there are so many cells that it really doesn't matter.

Also, what specific section or function changes? There are many, many unexplained factors here and because of this it is safe to conclude that this is nothing more than a big pile of bullshit.

My dad had been smoking 15+ years before I was born. If its indeed altering DNA I'm already affected. I'm not drooling. My eyes aren't rolling into the back of my head, and my father still doesn't have cancer after 33+ years.

HAHAHA. I love how our government comes out like crazy saying "HEY! Guess what?! That weed MAY cause cancer and MIGHT alter your DNA."
There's not one case of cancer in 10,000 years of use that is connected to cannabis use alone. How about they make more articles titled "Tobacco kills another 400,000 this year and our population is dropping because our government made the wrong crutches legal and now they're pretending they're still right".
