i was just prescribed the add medicine concerta, and i was wondering if there was any effects of takign concerta and smoking weed

nah man i do it all the time, but i take concerta to get a free high cuz my friend hooks it up for free. If your like hella sensitive to the concerta then it might take a lil more bud to get you high but i dont think the recomended dose they give you will affect yer smokin enough to be noticeable.

It will fuck you up more. Period.

a good surefire way to make sure of this is to stop smoking once you start the concerta. Two weeks later...enjoy.

You will get blazed as hell. I always am.

When i say blazed, i mean after a one hitter is packed...just that will fuck you up.

I don't think it would really interact with the maryjane in a harmful way if thats what youre asking. Because I take concerta every-now-and-then and I notice it chills me out alot more.

I take concerta and i have no idea how it would even effect your high or tolerance or anything at all.

Concerta is an amphediate or some shit like that, it's a time released, more stable form of Adderall, Ritalin, and speed, i believe.

I'v been taking concerta for a year now but I just started to smoke weed so It fuken made me trip out like I was on speed. Ok for ppl who dont know anything about adhd medicen, its govermental speed. But if you have adhd it does the opposite right. Exctly it does.Comes me the fukkkkk down. Im soo fuken mellow when im on concerta. also I thought if you take an upper and a downer that it would counteract in some odd bad way and have like a heart attack or sumthin. But no I guess since weed is a downer, and concerta is an upper,(govermental speed) I guess it counter acted with the weed and overpowered the 40 percent placebo effect. So it was like I was on REAL SPEED!

weed is actually hard to classify as to whether its a downer or a hallucinogen. It has a lot of effects like a downer, but it also raises your heart rate a lot when youre high and can cause mild hallucinations...aka being high. It isnt a downer in every way like xanax or something like that. Its a special drug lol.

I guess im different becuase when I was on ADD meds. I found that it took away from the high and felt it was alot harder to get high. When ever I did get high the high lasted shorter.

sometimes i take adderal that is not prescribed to me for really hard days at school and later that day when i smoke its kind of whatg i imagine a coke buzz would be like
im sure that concerta is just like adderal, its for the same thing.

ive been a daily smoker since about june or july and ive taken adderal about 5 times since then

i like your response, my tolerance for weed is high, tolerance for adderal is high,(barely fucking speeding due to tolerance) when i'm on adderal and i smoke weed, takes me an assload to get high, but when i smoke enough it'll be a good high (but not as geeky high tho)

i just did concerta for the first time 10 minutes ago. I took 6 36 mgs. Is it safe to take more? Will it affect me the first time?

i'm worried cause my doctor told me that if i do concerta then get high durring the day it can cause me to get a heart attack is that true? like i've been smoking for 3 years now every day like and i have 't gotten nuthing but now that he tell's me abou it i dono if it has to do with just stop weed its not good for yur health and he's just tryign to scare me into thinking weed an concerta's gona kill me or is this for real?

no offense but thats not a wise thing to do, do you have any idea what conterta is? its a drug that is supposed to have similar effects of aderall but without abusive characteristics IE. you cant get high off it, if its making you feel different, thats not getting high, thats placebo effect, one time i mixed concerta with aderall then i smoked a blunt, and sometime during the high i went completley blind for about 30 seconds, i was scared shitless. and that was only off a 15-20mg i beleive.

in all honesty, i am going to pray for you, because you just might need to get your stomach pumped pulling a stunt like that, i took about 40mg and it made me throw up. good luck and godspeed.

I smoked pot long before I was persribed concerta, and I can say that, at least for me, it does have an effect on the overall experience.


Usually with marijuana there a mild "high" effect, with some visual enhancement (e.g. brighter colors) and if you smoke a lot there are visuals (e.g. things may move or breathe); some 2 dimensional patterns become apparent upon shutting eyes (but that's normally with a VERY high dose)

Now, when I take concerta then smoke, even the smallest amount will get me up to the point where I begin to have closed eye visuals and 2 demensional patterns

it somehow effects the overall intensity of the high

there could definitly be many other contributing factors of course, but these things started when I began taking concerta so I'm associating the overall experience with the concerta
