The percentage of depressed teens is equal to the percentage of depressed adults, but depressed teens are more likely than depressed adults to use marijuana and other drugs.

ROTFLMAO. This just blows their study out of the water.

They are saying teens use more drugs BUT ARE EQUAL in depression rates to adults. It suggests drugs have little to do with causing the depression but are a symptom of depression.

It could also mean that teens are less depressed than adults or a million other things. It could even say MJ helps these kids.

You can't just make outright statements based on these studies like "MJ makes kids depressed". The anti-MJ crowd loves to do it.

Instead of this obvious BS, they should be telling parents of teens with depression to stay away from indica strains and try using sativa or sativa dominant strains. Duh!
That would occur in a sane rational existance, of course.

wow, this is interesting. I'm loving the things people are saying.

its saying the number of teens depressed is equal to the number of adults depressed. but teens are more likely to smoke bud. who fucking cares if more teens then adults smoke bud? not a quarter of the country is depressed. 'stupid idiots'

kinda wished I waited a few extra years before I started smoking the herb. A young mind isn't as strong. I could have got way more tail if I didn't act like a stoner. some girls just suck that way.
