An undercover officer posed as a student for four weeks at Weber High School to investigate drug sales.


Lt. Darin Parke of the Weber/Morgan Narcotics Strike Force says the undercover cop was in his early 20s. He attended Weber High each day and even took tests.

Four teens and an 18-year-old are charged with selling marijuana and prescription drugs.

The first thing that came to mind was "Lando Griffin." The narc being shot is really a shame though... in fact, the entire tactic is a shame, but then you have to think that most of them are just doing their job. It's the bureau above them that causes it, and prohibition of course.

yeah on halloween no one at my school smokes any pot cause one year the principle whos the biggest bitch in the world decided to get in a costum and go and ask a bunch of kids if they wanted to match on a sesh and then a bunch of kids got busted and yeah ever since no one smokes pot at school on onctober 31st

I always hear this about cops, whether they're throwing people in jail for smoking cannabis or busting kids in their dorm rooms and pouring out MY FUCKING HENNESSEY, and I just have to say: even though they're just following orders, that doesn't make them morally immune from what they're doing. That excuse didn't work for the Nazi concentration camp guards, it doesn't work for drug cops. They should just request to work on something else within their department that isn't socially destructive.

EDIT: I don't mean to equate the genuine evil of the Final Solution with the inbred bureaucratic stupidity of the Drug War, I was just saying that the defense used by the functionaries of both just doesn't fly.

Also, a drug cop CAN be forgiven if he atones for his sins, like Barry Cooper with his 'never get busted again' haha
