Why were you busted?

I was arrested for possession of marijuana, more than twenty-five years ago because I was arrogant and careless, and those two mistakes just happened to take the notice of a small-town cop who had nothing better to do than to bust hippies.

I'm curious why you think you were busted?

i have not been arrested for any weed crimes yet (knocks on wood) I always avoid stupid situations. Once we were at this daycare/park on a Friday night with a few buddies. I had a pound in my trunk that i picked up near cleveland for my friend. I had a bad feeling about smoking a blunt in this place so Im like all of a sudden we should leave. I get in the car pull out of the parking lot get to the corner and see 2 cop cars pulling in the other entrance. It was like a miracle

Well i was arrested because I was set up, to make it brief person who WAS my friend set me up I sold him like 3.5 grams of bud, and 6 months later im in hand cuffs. I wasnt a dealer just someone who WAS my friend needed bud...i thought.
Other than that I am very careful, never have i been pulled over for anything or searched. I am a paranoid person and bud makes me more paranoid, some people believe that is that is a downside but its a perk for me, has me stay out of trouble.

I've been caught multiple times for smoking weed. Even been caught red handed in a field with a pipe in hand and a hit in lung. Cops were cool though, i wasnt a prick, i didnt lie or try to be a smart-ass and they let me finish up and head home after. They even offered me a ride. That was the best experiance ive had being caught by the po-po. Ive had other close calls in cars and such, but havnt got a dick cop yet (knock on w00d) good luck stoners

Well I've never been arrested, but I've been caught on many occasions now. My mom and sister have both smelled it, and I got caught in school making a deal, but got away (I can't go into detail, sorry)

The one time I was arrested I couldn't understand how I was caught. I mean it really boggled my mind. I was in a hotel where the hallways were inside, true this is bad but thats not even the half of it. I was smoking in the bathroom with the fan on and the shower going. After I was done smoking I went to a different room about 30-40 feet down the hall and passed out. It was there the police raided the room and I was arrested. I just can't figure out how it happened. They said that the room was boxed and smoke poured out like a Snoop Dogg concert but the fact was there was no smoke in the room at all. We had decided that it would be safest to keep one room to drugs and one room clean, minus the ounce of weed, we kept with us so housekeeping wouldn't stumble across it. So I guess we were either set-up or ratted on, both of those options piss me off real bad. But, it occured when I was a minor so all charges were wiped clean once I turned 18. Worst part about it was the cop that busted us had the worst meth mouth I've ever seen. It was a damn disgrace and an insult to be arrested by that asshole.

I was in a similar situation, me and about 3 other friends were smoking on our SMOKING ROOM in our hotel and we had a balcony that exited inside to a big ass room with a pond and birds and shit in the middle, in OC, Maryland. The front desk woman showed up at the door in the middle of our session and said there were reports of thick white smoke exiting the room. Of course they knew what was up but we played it cool and asked, isn't this a smoking room? I still don't understand why we didn't get busted. I think someone snitched on us for sure from across the hotel.

I was on a huge rock with a friend swimming in Lake Erie on a beautiful summer day. We had a small pipe and bag sitting on the rock next to us as we sunned. My friend looked up at the cliff above where the parking lot was. Standing twenty feet above us were two cops. My friend whispered to me, and I pulled the old yawn and stretch routine, put my hand over the contraband, they yelled "FREEZE" and I tossed it in the lake.

At the station they kept threatening this and that, but the bottom line was I had a campsite full of party favors, and the local law was supposed to be that you pay $100 bail, and forfeit your bail if you don't show up in court, and you walk free, no real record. Sounded like a good deal, and I went for it. That year Ohio decided you couldn't do that for weed anymore and I ended up with three days in County, with armed robbers, and assaulting officer inmates. Fun weekend, literally watching your ass for 3 days and two nights.

That's why my vote was arrogant and stupid. 30 years later, I still can't forget the anger and loss of freedom. That 57% who've never experienced that be glad and careful.

Always something I will Regret and play "Monday morning Quarterback" on since it occured in July of 2000......

I was Careless but voted that I was STUPID....Because in my opinion...."I got greedy".......

Grew succesfully for 7 years before that....I decided to ad a "Questionable and old school" 1000 watt halide to my 600 watt HPS in a 6x6 closet. I was running too much electricity and a Fire started.....Police showed up??????although I know for a fact the Fire Dept was super cool and never ratted me out to the media ect.........

8 years later I miss the things I lost in that Fire far more than regretting the Grow fire and my arrest....To this day, I will start looking for something like a Music CD, Shirt, Whatever. Then realize like a bullet to the head "OH, I FORGOT I LOST THAT IN THE FIRE".

In the 1990's I worked with alot of Rock Bands and Entertainers......I lost alot of stuff.....Also looking back in retrospect...It changed my entire Life in Both good and bad ways......I consider it one of those "EXPERIENCES" that make the top 5 of things that changed everything in my life....it's hard to explain in a single post....LOL

HELL....I have seen some of the Artwork ect. I lost on Ebay selling for thousands....Things I got for Free......The first "Tibetan Freedom" concert silkscreen poster print with the Beastie boys,Rage against the Machine,Smashing Pumpkins,Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more bands all Autographed my print......I even went clothes shopping one week before the fire...Lost about $1000 of new clothes.....I was in bed when it happened and what they say is true..."THE FIRE WAS NOT NEARLY AS BAD AS THE SMOKE". The Damage from Smoke was tremendous....I remember getting out of Jail......Finally Looking at my room and bursting into tears.......I lost everything I owned.....except my car.....

Sucks bout your stuff man. I have a ton of Allman brothers memorabilia Id hate to lose. Especially to see all that shit after being in jail.
