70 watt HPS Floodlight?

im thinking about buying one of these lights to do a one plant grow but i dont want to do all the wiring to seperate the ballast from the light. Can i just use the light as is?

Yes, but your ambient temperatures will be severely higher than normal and you most likely will have to live in an extremely cold area to compensate for the high heat of the hps.

If you don't want to redo the wiring, then the best thing you can do is buy a couple of shop fluoros and try your hand at that, cuz the rewiring is more or less a MUST.
