Side Lighting

would putting lights around the plant encourage alot of outward growth or just let the lower bud sites develop like the tops

right now I have overhead lights and one light on the side, vertical...about 2 weeks now of experimenting...plant doesn't bend really...encourages lots of growth from the sides...this saturday it is going into flowering so I will post results.

im on my first indoor attempt so i havent tried additional side lights yet but i know people who have! they tell me that it makes a big improvement on yeild, so i would definately give it a try

The more light the better as long as it's the correct light...MH for vegging and HPS for flowering...or HPS all the way.....however i have been hearing a lot about dual spectrum, i'll need to give it a try....MH and HPS.....Peace out....Sid
