Final Decision, 250 or 400

hello people.

In your opinion.

lets say you have a 150-200 $$ budget.
Either a Cabinet SCROG or a closet SOG

250watt or 400watt?

I am planning on harvesting 4 plants at a time grown from water rooted clones.(dirt)
I must decide soon because i am leaving my current location and would like to make my final online purchase (already bought my K2 nirvana online) at this safe address.

i will be living in an apartment so please take power usage into consideration.

Also, i will be buying from inside sun (any light with a white hood) unless anyone has any better idea's

thanks for the help

peace

psss once i decide on what light to chose i will take pictures of light/box it came in if anyone would like to see the purchased product.

Is it wrong to masturbate to pics of pot?

those FLUOREX lamps I'm always talking about.

Just a note to all that keep PMing: I'm just a customer of that place. I know the owner ‘cuz he lives by me; but, I can't answer questions about shipping or stuff the dude can get – you have to ask him. I invited him here but he doesn't want the risk.

well i hate to do it guys, but ive been researching and i think the 400 is just out of my budget.

i think im going to buy the 250watt hps from HTGsupply.com

they just looks better and the bulb is rated at 33,000 lumens.
overall price is cheaper exp with shipping

I may be dissapointed at first with yeilds but i have a feeling with practice and trial and error i will be able to make the best of this light.

i will have pictures of this product the day it hits my door

peace

Sorry but you cant get a better deal with both bulbs, switable ballast and quality construction. All i have to say is you get what you pay for, and skimping while growing gets you crap yield.

I personally would not settle for just a MH or just a HPS both are required for proper growth and flowering.

good choice there, htgsupply, is 5 stars in my book, i got the 400 hps , complete package deal,, delivered to my door for $205.00,, theyre shipping is extremely discreet, , i got the one with the batwing reflector,,,

they took a money order thru the mail,,, and delivery time was pretty quick.

damn things kicked ass, since day 1,, the bulbs they come with are good quality,,, they grew these plants [ look at my grow ]]

In my mind the wattage question comes down to size of grow / space and ability to manage heat. The 400w will give you more bang for the buck but could be more light than you need and can handle -- I know people who have put a 400w in a typical 2x2x4 box and regretted it. Plus, that 400w will cost 60% more in electricity than the 250w.
